Rusty's Race to the Finish Fantasy Game
Rules and Scoring
1. Fill in your name and email address.
2. Pick your drivers in the finishing order that you think they will finish in the current weeks race.
3. Fill in the bonus item answer based on the weekly bonus question. See the bonus question
topic chart for a hint.
4. Points will be awarded based on the finish of the driver vs. where you selected they would finish.
5. Picking the driver correctly in their finishing position will result in maximum points for that position.
6. Picking the driver within 1 spot of their finishing position will earn you 40 points.
7. Picking the driver within 2 spots of their finishing position will earn you 20 points.
8. Picking a driver in the top 10, but not within 2 finishing positions will earn you 10 points.
9. Correctly answering the bonus item will result in 50 points added to your score.
10. 200 bonus points will be awarded for picking the top 5 drivers in the correct finishing order
and 500 bonus points will be added for picking the top 10 drivers in the correct finishing order.
11. The player with the most points on each week will be crowned the weekly champion. The
weekly champion will receive an entry in the final drawing.
12. At the end of the season, the weekly points will be added up and totaled. The player with
the most points will be crowned the season champion, will be eligible for a championship prize
and will receive an entry in the final drawing.
13. The season will be broken into three segments. Segment 1 will be from Bristol - Michigan,
Segment 2 will be from Sears Point - Richmond and Segment 3 will be from New Hampshire - Homestead/Miami. Each Segment winner will be eligible for a championship prize and will
receive an entry in the final drawing.
14. Rusty's Race to The Finish game will not run every week. Please check the R2F schedule
to check for off-weeks.
15. All scoring discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the picks department before
the next race. When the green flag falls for the next race, all previous weeks results are considered
final. Email scoring issues to picks at rustylugnuts.com
16. No points will be given for any finish of 11th or 12th place.
17. If a driver is picked more than once in your weekly picks, points will only be awarded for the
position that will give you the most points.
18. The Final drawing will be held after the Homestead/Miami Race. Winners will be notified
by email.
19. If your picks are not received by the weekly deadline, your picks from the week before will
be used and you will not be eligible for the bonus points. If new picks are sent in after the
deadline, but before the race, you will not be eligible for the bonus points and you will lose
25 points from your final score.
20. Players points for races 4, 14 and 24 will be doubled and will count towards the segment
and season championships.
21. Players lowest total point race for each segment will be dropped.
22. RustyLugnuts.com reserves the right to reject the entry of any player who it feels is
attempting to circumvent the rules.
